Reigate and Banstead Police Safer Neighbourhood Team
Dear Residents, Welcome to the Police Update for the last two weeks. The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries and vehicle thefts reported between the 18th December 2025 to 1st January 2026. The report also includes information on arrests in the Borough.
Arrests. There were 41 arrests in the period December 25th to December 31st 2025: Domestic Incident/Violent Domestic Abuse 8, Rape/Sexual Offence 4, Drugs 3, Prescribed Limit 4, Drunk/Drug Charge 3, Vehicle Crime 1, Violent Crime other 2, Master Occurrence 2, Breach of Bail/Custody related matter 1, Theft 1, Immigration 2, Child protection 1, Absconder/Wanted 1, Out of Force 1, Offensive Weapon 3, Criminal Damage 1, Vulnerable Adult Incident 1, None of these 2.
Please Note There were 12 reports of Residential Burglaries in the last 2 weeks in the Borough, of which 7 were Residential Garage and Outbuilding (Shed) burglaries in the Reigate area. Items stolen were Electric bicycles and Mountain bikes. Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough. Records show that there have been three reports of Personal Fraud in the Borough during the two weeks. These include a telephone fraud claiming to be from a mobile telephone company.

Stolen: Including numerous items of jewellery. (PR 45250153481) 23/12/2025 20:05. Glen Close, Kingswood. Attempted Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Attempted forced entry through a side door to the property. Stolen: Nothing taken. (PR 45250154300) Between 25/12/2025 11:40 to 26/12/2025 00:00. Highfield, Banstead. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through a first floor window. Stolen: Watches, Jewellery, Clothing, Cash, Handbags, and other items. (PR 45250154938)
